Myrcene

Myrcene (beta-myrcene) is a monoterpene: a small, volatile hydrocarbon built from two isoprene units in an open chain. It is one of the main aroma compounds of hops, and perfumers use it as a starting material for other fragrance chemicals.

In the Strain Library, myrcene is among the measured terpenes of 6,845 of 7,134 strains (96%) and is the largest terpene in 1,844 strains. Where it was reported, it averaged 0.33% of the flower's weight. The strains with the most of it are Ghost Vapor OG (1.52%), Polaris (1.48%) and Apples Bananas (1.42%).
