Privacy Policy

Strain Library (the "app") and strainlibrary.net (the "website") are run by Malega Ventures LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the app and website handle. The short version: we don't ask for your name or email, and there are no accounts.

What stays on your device

• Your answer to the age question, so you are not asked every time. We keep only that you said yes and the date, never your date of birth.
• Your My Favorites list.
• On the website, copies of up to 40 pages you opened recently, and their pictures, so they open without a connection. Your browser keeps them; clearing its site data removes them.

In the app this is stored on your phone; on the website it is stored in your browser's local storage. We don't receive it and can't see it. Deleting the app, or clearing your browser's site data, removes it.

What we collect

We don't collect personal information. We don't have user accounts, and neither the app nor the website asks for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location. We don't run advertising or analytics tools, and the website sets no cookies.

Content your device downloads

Pages and pictures are served by Cloudflare, which hosts the website and the strain pictures. As with any download from the internet, the server sees your device's IP address and the file requested, and Cloudflare may keep standard logs for security and reliability. We don't use this to identify you or build a profile of you. The website's fonts are served from strainlibrary.net itself, not from a third party.

Links to other sites

Strain pages link to a YouTube search, and some pages link to sources such as research papers. Those links open other sites, and what happens there is covered by their privacy policies, not ours.

Age requirement

Strain Library is for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

If we add features

If a future version adds features that handle personal information, such as accounts, analytics or messaging, we'll update this policy before those features go live and change the date at the top.
