Strain Library (the "app") and strainlibrary.net (the "website") are run by Malega Ventures LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the app and website handle. The short version: we don't ask for your name or email, and the app has no accounts.

What stays on your device

• Your answer to the age question, so the app doesn't ask every time.
• Your My Favorites list.

This information is stored only on your phone. We don't receive it and can't see it. If you delete the app, it's gone.

What we collect

We don't collect personal information through the app. We don't have user accounts, and the app doesn't ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos or location. We don't run advertising or analytics tools in the app.

Content the app downloads

When you open a strain, the app may download pictures and other content from servers we use to host them, which are run by Cloudflare. As with any download from the internet, the server can see your device's IP address and the file requested. We don't use this to identify you or build a profile of you.

Links to other sites

Some strain pages link to videos on YouTube. Those links open YouTube or your browser, and what happens there is covered by the privacy policy of that service, not ours.

This website

The website doesn't use cookies, accounts or analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google to get them, which includes your IP address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.

Age requirement

Strain Library is for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

If we add features

If a future version of the app adds features that handle personal information, such as accounts or messaging, we'll update this policy before those features go live and change the date at the top.
